Thomas Harold Gooch we believe was born in 1883 in the Sudbury area of Suffolk. He married Emily Humphreys on the 10th July 1909 in The Parish Church on Chadwick Road in Eccles. They lived at various addresses in Eccles finally settling at number 93 Cromwell Road and we believe they had sixteen children. (Up to now we only know of fifteen.) Emily died aged 74 on 15th October 1961 at Cromwell road, Thomas Harold then moved to 89 Grasmere Cresent in Winton.
He died aged 84 on the 17 Apr 1967 in Hope Hospital, Salford.


The Children of Thomas Harold Gooch and Emily Humphreys.

Arthur Gooch was born on the 13th of October 1909 and lived at number 15, Paradise Street, Eccles.
He married Jessie Jameson in the September quarter 1939. They had one child and they lived in Schofield road, Peel Green.
Arthur died in Eccles on the 8th March 1974.

Martha E Gooch was born in the December quarter 1911 and married Alfred Large in the December quarter 1934.
We believe they had two children.

Mary Gooch Born September 1913 died September 1913.

Harold Gooch was born in the September quarter 1915 and died at number 93 Cromwell road on the 21st November 1939.

Naomi (Mya) Gooch was born in the September quarter 1918, and in the June quarter of 1938 married Joseph W Lockett.
We believe they had one child.

Thomas Gooch was born in the September quarter 1920 and married Edith A Blackburn in the June quarter 1946.
We believe they had three children.

Jennie Gooch was born in August 1922 whilst the family was living at number 15 Paradise street in Eccles. Unfortunately Jennie contracted measles and then Broncho Pneumonia and died on the 15th March 1924 when she was only 19 months old.

John Gooch was born on the 28th December 1923 also of Paradise street. Unfortunately John had Infantile convultions and died of natural causes just 11 days later on the 8th of January 1924.

Robert Gooch was born on the 21st April 1927 in Eccles, Manchester. He married a Fallows family member in Eccles around 1949 and they had one child. He served in the Royal Artillery. after leaving the army he worked at several jobs in his lifetime, among them Gardners in Peel Green and Thermalite Ytong in Agecroft.
He suffered a massive heart attack and died 1st August 1981 aged 54.

Edith Gooch was born in the June quarter 1929 and married William D Hughes in the September quarter 1949 and we believe they had one child.

Frank Gooch was born on the 1st August 1934 and married in the March quarter 1956 and they had one child.
